philosophy

Working in the field of business operations and investment management for the past ten years, I aim to bridge the gap between management goals and on-site staff procedures. Owning a business can be very similar to owning a vehicle. A vehicle may run, but it can always run smoother. How do you achieve this? Tune-ups! All businesses need them regularly.

pROFESSIONAL bACKGROUND

In 2015 I started as a property manager working for an industry leader in Property Management. At that time, owned two investment properties in my region since 2010. As I worked up to the regional manager position by building up the on-site staff, we acquired 3 more properties in 2019 and 1 additional property in 2022. Under my leadership, we tripled property ownership within 3 years.

In addition we grew our on-site teams from 5 to 25 to ensure all aspects of business operations were taken care of. On the graph, to the right you can see income growth year over year, despite the pandemic.




uNDERSTANDING THE GOALS OF THE BUSINESS

I attribute my ability to increase revenue while improving the product to the monthly and quarterly “tune-ups” I complete at each site and each site level.

In order to complete efficient tune-ups or audits we must first understand the goals of the business and the current procedures in place.

Some companies have these goals and procedures written in black and white via handbooks and others have unspoken policies. Either way, these procedures should be analyzed regularly to ensure efficiency. In addition, all essential functions of a position must have checks and balances.

I am experienced in creating, implementing and training teams on essential functions and procedures for their positions.
